The Long-Life Vase (Kalasha): Resting upon his palms is his defining attribute: the kalasha, or long-life vase. This vessel is filled with amrita, the sacred nectar of immortality, symbolizing the blessing of a long and fruitful life dedicated to spiritual practice.
