Description: In Tibetan Buddhism, White Tara is known as Dolkar. She is the Buddha of Long Life, Healing, and Supreme Compassion. Distinguishing her from Green Tara is crucial, as they have different postures and highly specific attributes. Invite profound peace, healing, and longevity into your environment with this exquisite statue of White Tara. Revered as the mother of all Buddhas, she is meditated upon to grant a long, healthy life and to overcome physical and mental ailments. Her deeply tranquil presence radiates unconditional love, making her an essential centerpiece for any healing space, personal altar, or mindful home.

Symbolism & Meaning:

The Seven Eyes: Her most unique and defining feature is her seven eyes. She has three eyes on her face, plus one eye on each palm of her hands, and one on the soles of each foot. This symbolizes her compassionate vigilance—she sees the suffering of all beings throughout the universe and is always watching over them.

The Right Hand (Varada Mudra): Resting open over her right knee, her right hand is in the Varada Mudra (the gesture of supreme generosity), symbolizing her willingness to grant the boons of longevity and protection.

The Left Hand (Refuge Mudra): Held delicately at her heart, her left hand forms the gesture of granting refuge. Her thumb and ring finger press together, while her other three fingers point upward, representing the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha).

The White Lotus (Utpala): Her fingers elegantly grasp the stem of an Utpala (lotus flower) that blossoms fully over her left shoulder, symbolizing the purity of the enlightened mind.

Craftsmanship & Material: This statue is cast from durable Copper and features a hand-applied, darkened antique finish to highlight the intricate details of the Dolkar’s robes and serene facial expression. Please note: This is a hollow-cast copper item, making it sturdy yet light enough to easily move.

Ideal Placement: Traditionally placed inside a Choesham in a pooja hall or a meditation space, ideally at eye level or higher, and never directly on the floor.
