Handcrafted Jambiyang / Manjushri Statue - The Bodhisattva of Wisdom
Description: Jambiyang is the Bodhisattva of Wisdom. He is invoked by students, scholars, and practitioners seeking to improve their memory, clarity, and intelligence. His symbolism is highly specific and brilliantly dynamic, making clear documentation essential for authenticity. This elegant and powerful figure brings an atmosphere of sharp intellect and serene focus to any study, office, or meditation space.
Symbolism & Meaning:
The Right Hand (The Flaming Sword): Raised powerfully above his head, his right hand wields the double-edged flaming sword of wisdom (Khadga). This sword represents the sharp intellect required to instantly sever the roots of ignorance and delusion.
The Left Hand (The Lotus & Sutra): Held gracefully at his heart in the teaching gesture (Vitarka Mudra), his left hand delicately holds the stem of a blue lotus flower. The flower blooms just above his left shoulder, supporting the Prajnaparamita Sutra (The Book of the Perfection of Wisdom), symbolizing his ultimate realization of reality

Please note: This is a hollow-cast copper item, making it sturdy yet light enough to easily move.
Ideal Placement: Traditionally placed inside a Choesham in a pooja hall or a meditation space, ideally at eye level or higher, and never directly on the floor.
